Tewodros Kifle (b.1986, Ethiopia) received his MFA in Fine Arts (2025) and his BFA in Experimental Printmaking (2020) from the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design, Addis Ababa University, and pursued a Diploma of Fine Art and Graphics from Entoto College (2010). He works across diverse media like printmaking, Installation, video, mixed media, and photography. Tewodros's work often engages with themes that bridge historical contexts and contemporary issues. In his artistic research and practice, he is particularly interested in how technology, capitalism, and urbanization shape socio-political realities. He also reimagines ancient letterforms to reflect on past, present, and future narratives. Currently, he works as a visual artist and an Assistant Lecturer at the Alle School of Fine Arts and Design, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
